A Snog in London Town

A Snog in London Town

London treated us to cool weather and sunshine on day two. We decided our first stop of the day would be Chelsea. I had been craving those white-washed town homes and wrought iron fences for weeks.

I spotted some perfectly pastel homes along the way, too.

We hopped into a few boutiques at Portobello Road but much to our surprise we had arrived far too early for the market. We cut our losses and made for Buckingham Palace to witness the changing of the guard.

The Palace was surrounded by police by the time we arrived as they tried wrangling the crowds in order to keep the streets clear.

We made our way over to the center of the road to claim our spot next to the Victoria Memorial.

Famished, we headed to Covent Garden for a spot of lunch. Not seeing exactly what we wanted in Covent Garden we meandered to the surrounding streets and spotted a Korean restaurant about a block over. Collin and I were newbies to Korean and placed our order for the first things that caught our eye. Wow. The food was incredible. So incredible we actual went back the next day.

After catching a quick nap back at our Airbnb we headed back out to the Udderbelly festival.

We were handed a pamphlet the day before for a Burlesque show set to perform at the Udderbelly venue. Collin and I thought it was a great way to see a 'show' in London.

We grabbed a quick frozen yogurt before the show began at the coolest food truck ever.

With the best spot to watch the sun set.

With the best travel partner.

The show was unbelievable. No photography was allowed inside but let me tell you if you ever get a chance to see 'Between the Sheets' in London - go. The cast were hilarious, talented and sultry all rolled into one . Our sides hurt from laughing and Collin had an up close and personal encounter with one of the cast members as she made a few jabs.

The London Eye was lit up in all her glory as we headed back down the Thames towards home.

More to come of London Town. Check back soon!
